Clash of the Kingdoms, presented by Buddy Check for Jesse
vs. London Knights, September 4 & 5, 7:05 pm & 4:00 pm respectively.
The puck drops in Victoria like never before in Canadian Hockey League history! To be clear, this isn’t a friendly exhibition series. The Knights are bringing their best to face-off against WHL leading goal scorer Cameron Schmidt and your Victoria Royals for the first and only time EVER. Join us at the Barn on Blanshard to witness a game that features 11 NHL-drafted prospects, including 4 X 1st round NHL picks, and your first look at Victoria’s newest stars from a wild off-season of trades and acquisitions.
Home Opener, presented by RE/MAX
vs. Vancouver Giants, September 26, 6:05 pm.
The Royals kick off the season on September 26 with their first home game of the regular season! Join us pre-game for a Plaza Party and meet the 2026-27 line-up with an extended introduction for all the new faces. How will the division rival Giants react to superstar Cameron Schmidt in Royal blue after he crossed the Strait to join the capital’s Royals? Bring the noise, fans – this is how you set the tone for an All In season!
vs. Brandon Wheat Kings, October 4:05 pm.
You all know him; you all love him – but no one knows how old Marty really is, do you? It’s time to celebrate our favourite Marmot! Join Marty and all his mascot friends on October 4 for his annual birthday bash. Make sure your birthday card doesn’t get lost in the mail and purchase your tickets ahead of time! Who knows, maybe Marty will even share his cake…
Military Appreciation, presented by Babcock
vs. Tri-City Americans, November 7, 6:05 pm.
No city in Canada shows more pride and appreciation for the military than Victoria. With thousands of military members across the Island, join us for our annual Military Appreciation game on November 7 as we celebrate those Canadian Armed Forces members and their history in Victoria. Back by popular demand, the team will be wearing specialty Military Appreciation Jerseys, which will once again be auctioned off and proceeds directed to support the families of the Canadian Armed Forces. This event is an annual CAN’T MISS with multiple military branches in attendance for fun activities throughout the evening. And no, there is no irony in the game being placed against the Americans…
Teddy Bear Toss, presented by Tedford Doors
vs. Seattle Thunderbirds, November 27, 7:05 pm.
The. Biggest. Game. Of. The. Season. Period. Mark your calendars for November 27 as the highly anticipated Teddy Bear Toss returns to the Barn on Blanshard! Last year, Royals fans contributed 2,731 stuffed animals, and this year we’re counting on you to help us break that record! Be sure to bring a stuffed animal to toss on the ice and support charities across Victoria. Who will score this year’s Teddy Bear Toss goal? Will Ludovic Perreault have an early Christmas gift for us?
Hockey Holidays, presented by Proline Property Management
vs. Vancouver Giants, December 17, 7:05 pm.
Get into the holiday spirit for our only home game (can you believe that?) in December! Proline Property Management is back this year with its annual Toy Drive, challenging fans to fill their vehicle with donations. Fans can look forward to holiday-themed entertainment and giveaways throughout the night. How about that company Christmas party you dread every year? Bring it to the Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre and make it a party to remember. Think you have the ugliest Christmas sweater of all? Think again. Bring the whole family for a night of holiday fun!
vs. Penticton Vees, January 23, 6:05 pm.
Long before Eli McKamey put a Royals jersey on (yes, even before his Penticton one), he sat in the seats of the Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre and dreamt of one day playing for the Island’s team. The newly minted Hockey Day in Victoria is back to welcome all players and families that are just like Eli! This night is designed to celebrate all of hockey across Victoria and has quickly emerged as a fan favourite.
vs. Kamloops Blazers, January 30, 6:05 pm.
Out with the Horse and in with the Goat! Celebrate Lunar New Year with the Royals on January 30 as we welcome the Year of the Goat. Representing new beginnings, Lunar New Year marks the first new moon of the lunisolar calendar traditionally observed across many East Asian cultures. The Goat symbolizes gentleness, kindness, and peace. Fans can enjoy an evening of cultural celebration and a game that promises not to be gentle, kind or peaceful against our division rivals.
Tech Night presented by Victoria Data Society
vs. Prince George, February 13, 6:05 pm.
Skating robots? Would they be as mechanically gifted as top 2027 prospect Odin Vauhkonen? No chance. Tech Night is back to celebrate all the amazing technology and advancements that Victoria has to offer!
vs. Wenatchee Wild, February 15, 2:05 pm.
Who said family gatherings weren’t fun? Join your Victoria Royals for the most fun Family Day celebration in all of Victoria! With over 5,000 fans at our last Family Fun Day game, this year’s activations have a bar to beat. Science does tell us that nothing brings a family together more than a Miles Cooper hat trick…
vs. Vancouver Giants, February 19, 7:05 pm.
It’s time to dust off the cowboy hat and boots; it’s CountryFest with the Royals! Get ready for a night of country-themed music and activities. We will be auctioning off 25 limited-edition Royals-themed jackets. Don’t miss out on the best country-themed party of the year! Who knows, can Marty ride a bull?
Trades Night presented by Vancouver Island Construction Association and Van Isle Paint
vs. Saskatoon Blades, February 26, 7:05 pm.
Do you know how Rome was built in a day? Calling all Tradies – this one’s for you. Trades Night hits the Save-on-Foods Memorial Centre on February 26, celebrating the men and women who build, fix, wire, weld, and keep our communities moving. Check out heavy equipment, meet local businesses, and enjoy hands-on activities before cheering on the Royals. Grab your crew, throw on your work boots, and we’ll see you at the rink.
vs. Spokane Chiefs, March 7, 4:05 pm.
A can’t-miss game, the Victoria Royals Pink in the Rink game is back March 7! Wear your pink shirt, hats, and foam fingers and join the Royals in raising funds and awareness for cancer research. Don’t miss your chance to grab one of our game-worn Pink in the Rink themed jerseys with proceeds supporting those battling the disease.
vs. Vancouver Giants, March 26, 7:05 pm.
We know how this works. Half of you circled Fan Appreciation Night the second you heard “giveaways.” The other half just doesn’t want to admit it. Either way, come for the prizes, stay for the hockey, and leave with something worth bragging about. Fan Appreciation marks the last game of the regular season, and it’s an absolute fan fest! Join us as we celebrate our fans for supporting us all season long. You can look forward to tons of giveaways and prizes, while we take the time to celebrate what makes the Royals the greatest team in the WHL, our fans!
