Trevor Wong joins Hockey Gives Blood as a player ambassador
Kelowna Rockets forward Trevor Wong has joined Hockey Gives Blood as a player ambassador.
“As a member of the @Kelowna_Rockets I am proud to become a @hkygivesblood player ambassador. Half of all Canadians will need blood or knows someone who will. Book today or learn more at http://blood.ca/HGB,” wrote Wong in a tweet announcing that he had joined the non-profit society.
Hockey Gives Blood was founded in 2018 by former players, who are dedicated to encouraging the hockey community to help save lives and ensure that Canadian patients have the blood products they need when they need them. They partnered with Canadian Blood Services in an effort to engage and educate the hockey community about the importance of blood and stem cell donation.
