KELOWNA, BC — The Kelowna Rockets announced today that the club has signed 2011-born forward Cole Chudyk to a WHL Scholarship & Development Agreement.
Chudyk, a native of Lamont, Alberta, was selected by the Rockets in the third round, 52nd overall, of the 2026 WHL Prospects Draft.
The 5-foot-9, 178-pound right-shot forward spent the 2025-26 season with Calgary IHA U15 Prep, recording 14 goals and 18 assists for 32 points in 24 regular-season games.
Chudyk also appeared in five playoff games, adding one goal and two assists, and saw action at the U17 level with Calgary IHA U17 Prep.
“Cole was a player we identified early and were very interested in with our second selection of the draft,” said Rockets General Manager Curtis Hamilton. “He brings a strong work ethic and compete level, along with a good skill set. We liked the way he played throughout the year and we’re excited to continue watching his development.”
