The Kelowna Rockets shutout the Victoria Royals 1-0 Wednesday night at the Save-On-Foods Memorial Arena in Victoria, B.C.

The two faced off for the second night in a row, Victoria came back to down the Rockets 5-4 in a shootout last night.
Goaltender Cole Schwebius backstopped the Rockets to their first shutout of the season and his first in the Western Hockey League; he turned aside 33 shots.

Nolan Foote (8) put the Rockets in front when he pounced on a rebound just past the midway point of the first period. His third power-play tally of the season would be the lone goal of the game.

Schwebius’s record is now 2-1-0-0. The Royals outshot the Rockets 33-17.
