Preview: Rockets depart for Prince George
The Kelowna Rockets will face the Prince George Cougars on the road tomorrow night at the CN Centre in Prince George, BC.
The Rockets were last in action on Saturday night where they fell 2-1 to the Kamloops Blazers. Kyle Topping, who scored the lone goal for the Rockets, says that he felt the team played well and they’re prepared to go into Prince George.
“It’s always a challenge going into Kamloops,” said Topping. “I thought we got better as the game went on, we’re just missing a little bit to get those wins. To get there, I think we just have to stick to our structure and play our game plan. I think our coaches are doing a good job of telling us what to do to have success against teams.”
The Cougars will host the Swift Current Broncos tonight before the Rockets roll in tomorrow.
