The Kelowna Rockets will be looking to extend their win streak to three games when they head to Kamloops on Saturday to face the Blazers at the Sandman Centre – puck drop is set for 7:00 pm.
The Rockets last played on Wednesday, taking charge of a chaotic game to beat the Prince George Cougars 8-6 at Prospera Place. Andrew Cristall and Adam Kydd both posted five point nights, with Kydd recording his first career hat-trick. Talyn Boyko made 22 saves on the 28 shots he faced.
The Blazers also played on Wednesday, falling 2-1 in overtime to the Seattle Thunderbirds in Kamloops. Caedan Bankier scored the lone goal for the Blazers, while Dylan Ernst turned aside 27 of the 29 shots he faced.
Roster Updates
Max Graham has missed the last three games with a lower-body injury, he’s resumed skating but remains listed as day-to-day on the injury report.

Players to watch
Kelowna
- Andrew Cristall matched a career-high with five points in a game, recording five assists on Wednesday against the Cougars. He leads the Rockets in points with 27 (11G, 16A) through 14 games – two of those goals were scored against Kamloops last Saturday.
- Adam Kydd set a career-high in points in a game with five last game, including his first career hat trick. The 20-year-old is one point shy of 100 career points.
- Turner McMillen‘s next game will be his 100th regular-season game. He’s posted 49 points (15G, 34A) and 99 penalty minutes in his first 99 regular season games.
Kamloops
- Dallas Stars 2021 second-round pick Logan Stankoven leads the Blazers in scoring with 21 points (10G, 11A) in ten games, he scored the lone Blazers goal in last weekend’s 3-1 loss to Kelowna.
- Minnesota Wild prospect Kyle Masters leads all Blazers defencemen in scoring with 13 points (2G, 11A) in 13 games. The Blazers acquired the defenceman from the Red Deer Rebels prior to the season starting.
- Goaltender Dylan Ernst was in net for the Blazers last weekend against Kelowna. The Weyburn, Sask. product is 6-4-1-1 with a 2.75 goals-against average and .910 save percentage in 10 games for Kamloops this season.
