ISight Optometry Game Recap: Rockets take 3-0 lead with 7-4 win over Blazers
The Kelowna Rockets have pushed the Kamloops Blazers to the brink of elimination after a 7-4 win in game three Tuesday Night. Vojtech Cihar continues his dominance with fifteen points in his last six games against the Blazers. Tij Iginla had four points in this one as he continues his hot streak against the Blazers. Rockets goaltender Harrison Boettiger picked up his seventh straight win against the Blazers.

GAME SUMMARY
Kelowna struck first in the opening period as Tij Iginla (4) opened the scoring with his fourth of the playoffs at 6:37. Vojtech Cihar and Mazden Leslie picked up the assists on the goal. The Rockets doubled their lead at 13:05 when Nate Corbet (1) scored his first. Jacob Henderson and Vojtech Cihar picked up the assists on the goal.
Kelowna made it 3-0 just over two minutes later as Dawson Gerwing (1) wired home a one-timer from the slot at 15:16. Hayden Paupanekis and Hiroki Gojsic picked up the assists on the goal.
Kamloops responded quickly to start the second period, as Jordan Keller (1) got the Blazers on the board at 0:12. The Rockets answered right back at 3:56 when Tij Iginla (5) scored his second of the night. Vojtech Cihar and Nate Corbet picked up the assists on the goal.
The Blazers cut into the lead again at 7:39 as Isa Guram (1) scored from the high slot. Rhett Ravndahl and JP Hurlbert picked up the assists on the goal.
In the third period, Kelowna extended their lead at 2:49 as Vojtech Cihar (4) scored the insurance marker. Tij Iginla picked up the lone assist on the goal. Kamloops answered just 29 seconds later at 3:18, as Ryan Oothoudt (1) tipped a point shot. Rowan Guest and Connor Pankratz picked up the assists on the goal to make it 6-2.
The Blazers made it a two-goal game midway through the period as Ryan Michael (1) scored on the powerplay at 13:07. Cooper Moore and Ty Coupland picked up the assists on the goal. Kamloops would get another one at 17:26 as Jacob Dumansky (2) would make it a 6-4 game. Kelowna would then get an empty netter from Rowan Guest (1) 17:41. Iginla would pick up the assist to mark his fourth point on the night.
Kelowna held firm the rest of the way, backed by a strong 30-save performance from Harrison Boettiger, to secure the 7-4 win.
The Rockets now take a 3-0 series lead and sit one win away from advancing to the second round.
