Kelowna Rockets recall forward Eli Barrett
The Kelowna Rockets announced today they have recalled 2008-born forward Eli Barrett ahead of Saturday night’s game in Kamloops.
Barrett, who was Kelowna’s second-round pick in the 2023 WHL Prospects Draft, has suited up in three regular season game for the Rockets. He registered his first career point on December 13th against Tri-City. In 31 regular season games with Yale Hockey Academy, he scored 16 goals and added 25 assists for 41 points.
In three playoff games, Barrett went over a point-per-game, tallying one goal and adding four assists.
The Rockets will now take a quick trip up to Kamloops for a rematch Saturday night at the Sandman Centre. Kelowna will then be off until Wednesday when they host the Victoria Royals at Prospera Place. Puck drop is scheduled to go for 7:05 PM.
