A letter from Max Graham
Dear Kelowna,
Thank you to everyone for making my last four years of hockey so special! Getting the privilege to play for your hometown junior team is one that not many people are lucky enough to have, and it didn’t disappoint!
To the Hamilton family,
Thank you for bringing me in and letting me live my dream of playing for the Kelowna Rockets. All the help off the ice and being some of the first people in the hockey world to believe in me mean a lot. I will forever be grateful of what you’ve done for myself and the entire organization. I’m proud of the relationships we’ve built and look forward to growing them even further in the future.
To my teammates,
Thank you to every single one of you who made showing up to the rink everyday so easy. I’ve had the best times of my life with you guys and have built countless lifelong friendships. Every game, every practice, every road trip would not have been the same without you guys and for that I’m grateful. Whether I’ve played with you for four years or four days, the thousands of hours we spent together have been unreal.
To my coaches and training staff,
Thank you for all the countless hours of work you’ve put into me and my development. Not only on the ice, but off the ice, I have learned so much from you guys that I’ll take with me wherever I go. You all became more than just staff members, as I now see you all as role models, friends and mentors. The effort to make myself and others just one percent better each day has not gone unnoticed and is very much appreciated.
To the fans,
Thank you for always showing up and supporting myself and the team… no matter what the circumstance. I have been fortunate to play four full years here and over that time I’ve built relationships with many of you. There’s no cooler feeling than looking into the crowd and seeing someone wearing your jersey. Win or lose, the Rockets fans always made playing at Prospera fun and feel like home. I look forward to watching Rockets games for years to come as a fan of my own.
Thank you Kelowna!
Max Graham
