17 Rockets Alumni Participating in NHL Training Camps
With training camps opening today for all 24 NHL teams resuming play, we take a look at the 17 Rockets alumni on the rosters around the league.
The Vancouver Canucks lead the way with three former Rockets on their training camp roster; Kole Lind, Alex Edler and Tyler Myers. The Calgary Flames, Dallas Stars and Tampa Bay Lightning each have two former Rockets on their rosters.
Kole Lind and Cal Foote have yet to play an NHL game.
Sixteen out of the seventeen players are still searching for their first Stanley Cup. Duncan Keith is the lone cup champion, he has hoisted it three times with the Chicago Blackhawks.
A team is allowed to carry 30 skaters and an unlimited amount of goalies during training camp. Following camp, teams will have to cut down their skaters to 28.
