Rebels Deal With Thunderbirds
RED DEER, AB – Brent Sutter, General Manager/Head Coach of the Red Deer Rebels Hockey Club, announced today a trade with the Seattle Thunderbirds. The Rebels have acquired 18-year old forward Lane Pederson and a 5th round selection in the 2017 Western Hockey League Bantam Draft in exchange for 18-year old goaltender Taz Burman.
Pederson is entering his second season in the WHL, last year he had 8 goals and 12 assists for 20 points in 63 games played.
