One Year To Go!
In exactly 365 days from today the Red Deer Rebels will take to the ice in front of an electric atmosphere at the Enmax Centrium, for the opening game of the 2016 MasterCard Memorial Cup. This will mark the event’s return to Alberta, the first held in the province since 1974. The event will run May 19-29, 2016.
Over the next 9 months, expect many exciting announcements in preparation for the greatest celebration in Central Alberta history. These will include…

– Signature CHL Events, including the Arrival Celebration, Opening Banquet, and Golf Tournament

Planning for the event is well underway, here are some highlights so far…
TICKETING
Season Ticket Members have begun receiving their 2015-16 Rebels Season Renewals along with their 2016 MasterCard Memorial Cup event package forms. The package highlights key dates for Season Ticket Members to secure their 2016 MasterCard Memorial Cup event packages.
Due to building capacity, along with CHL ticketing requirements, the only way to guarantee your seat to the 2016 MasterCard Memorial Cup is by becoming a Rebels Season Ticket Member. For more information on becoming a Season Ticket Member, click here.
Further details on ticket package availability for the general public, should sufficient ticket supply remain after Season Ticket Member purchases, will be unveiled this fall.
QUEBEC CITY 2015
A 10 person contingent from the 2016 MasterCard Memorial Cup Host Committee, Red Deer Rebels, and Westerner Park will descend on Quebec City beginning May 20. The purpose of the trip will be to learn and gather information that we can use to make Red Deer 2016 the greatest MasterCard Memorial Cup yet.
LOGO
The logo for the 2016 MasterCard Memorial Cup has been unveiled! The brand depicts the geography of Alberta, along with HWY 2, the connecting point for Alberta hockey fans. The Red Deer Rebels primary color, burgundy, will serve as the events primary brand color. Look for more details on the graphic identity of the 2016 event later this year.
