Kuemper Named to WHL All Star Team
The WHL announced on Wednesday that Red Deer Rebel goaltender Darcy Kuemper had been named to WHL Eastern Conference Second All Star Team. At the same time, it was announced that Rebel rookie forward Ryan Nugent-Hopkins is the Eastern Conference finalist for the Jim Piggott Memorial Trophy as WHL Rookie of the Year.
