Shore shuts the door as Rebel blank Pats
Peyton Shore stopped 18 shots on the way to his first WHL career shutout Friday night in Regina as the Rebels posted a 3-0 win over the Pats.
The Rebels defence played an active role in the win as Doogan Pederson helped Talon Brigley and Kalan Lind each notch a goal, and Derek Thurston finished the game with an empty net tally.
Red Deer will hope to carry the momentum into Moose Jaw on Saturday night to play the Warriors.

The Rebels lead was extended in the second period as Pederson put another shot on Regina’s netminder, Kelton Pyne. This time it was Kalan Lind at the net, unable to trick Pyne with a deflection, Lind instead put home the rebound as he fell to the ice.
