Rebels solid in 5-0 win in Lethbridge
LETHBRIDGE – It was the type of 60-minute effort the Red Deer Rebels have been building towards all season.
The Rebels came out strong from the opening shift and controlled things from start to finish in a 5-0 win over the Lethbridge Hurricanes at the VisitLethbridge.com Arena.
Red Deer snapped its four-game losing streak and handed Lethbridge it’s fifth-straight home loss.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Samuel Drancak kicked things off midway through period one when he pounced on a loose puck in front of the net and slid it through the five-hole of Lethbridge goalie Leif Oaten for his second goal of the season.
It was midway through period two when Beckett Hamilton laid a perfect pass on the stick of Landon MacSwain, who made no mistake in going bar-down with a sizzling shot for his first WHL goal.
