Rebels select Czech defenceman Vojtech Port at 2022 CHL Import Draft
RED DEER – The Red Deer Rebels have selected Czech defenceman Vojtech Port with the 49th overall pick in the first round of the 2022 CHL Import Draft.
The 2005-born blue liner recorded 22 points (3 goals, 19 assists) in 19 games with HC Sparta Praha U17 during the 2021-22 season. He also suited up for 21 games with HC Sparta Praha U20, collecting five points.
Port, who turns 17 in August, also played nine games for Czechia’s National Under-17 team last season.
