Rebels face Hurricanes in Round One
The Red Deer Rebels will face the Lethbridge Hurricanes in round one of the WHL playoffs, beginning Saturday, March 25 in Lethbridge. The Rebels will finish the season 3rd in the Central Division, one spot behind the 2nd place Hurricanes. This marks the first playoff series between the 2 teams since 2002, when the Rebels swept the Hurricanes in 4 games.
Tickets for Games 3 and 4 in Red Deer go on sale Friday, March 17 at 10:00am. Tickets can be purchased at Ticketmaster.ca. The Westerner Park box office will be open March 18, 11:00am to 7:00pm, as well as on all home playoff game days beginning at 11:00am. Season Ticket Members have tickets to home games A and B included in their season ticket package (Games 3 and 4 of this series). Members have until March 30 to activate home games C-P, found at the back of each season ticket book.
The first 3,000 fans at all first round home games will receive clappers courtesy ATB Financial.
