HOW IT HAPPENED:
it was Regina that struck first midway through the opening frame. Matt Paranych broke down the left wing and snapped a shot top corner past Peyton Shore to open the scoring.
The Pats added another 49 seconds later when Zachary Lansard drove the net on a wraparound attempt, setting up Ruslan Karimov to make it 2–0.
Liam Pue extended Regina’s lead early in period two on a set-up from Maddox Schultz.
Just 27 seconds later Cole Temple slid a pass into the Pats slot for Beckett Hamilton, who made no mistake in going bar-down on Pats goaltender Marek Schlenker to get the Rebels on the board.

A blocked shot from recently-acquired Rebels forward Kalder Varga found its way to Hamilton who buried his second of the night with just one second remaining on a power play to make it 4-2.
