Rebels acquire two draft picks from Blazers
RED DEER – The Red Deer Rebels have completed a trade with the Kamloops Blazers this evening, prior to the 2026 WHL Trade Deadline.
The Rebels have acquired a fourth-round pick in the 2026 WHL Prospects Draft (via Vancouver) and a fourth-round pick in the 2028 WHL Prospects Draft from the Blazers in exchange for 18-year-old forward Ty Coupland.
The North Vancouver, BC native appeared in 63 games with the Rebels after being acquired last season from the Swift Current Broncos and had 35 points (15 goals, 20 assists).
