Raiders Dull Blades 4-1

The Prince Albert Raiders peppered 46 shots at the Saskatoon Blades net en route to a 4-1 victory Tuesday night at the Art Hauser Centre.

 

Matteo Gennaro opened the scoring under 3 minutes into the game with his third goal in the last two games before Mike Winther added to the lead at the 7-minute mark.

 

After Saskatoon got within one prior to the first intermission, Dakota Conroy hit the back of the net in the middle stanza, and Darcy Zaharichuk hit the top shelf to give the Raiders extra insurance.

 

Goaltender Nick McBride made his first career start at the Art Hauser Centre, stopping 28 of 29 shots faced in the win.
