Wednesday Night in the Dub: Raiders @ Hitmen
SETTING IT UP:
Prince Albert (15-10-3-0) head into Calgary on a three game winning streak as they take on the Hitmen (16-9-3-1). The Raiders came away with a 5-2 victory last night in Edmonton, and finsih off the first half of their schedule tonight at the Scotiabank Saddledome. It’s Wednesday Night In The Dub, which means the game will be free on WHL Live and YouTube for all fans to tune in.
MACIAS TIES HIS CAREER HIGH:
A four point performance from Krzysztof Macias last night matched his career high of points in a single game. He scored an empty net goal and added three assists in the win over the Oil Kings. The only other time Macias has scored four points in a WHL game was back on February 24, 2024 against the Brandon Wheat Kings, where he registered four assists in a 5-2 win. The Polish Prince now has 22 points (8G-14A) in 21 games this season.
CROCKER POTS TWO:
Niall Crocker scored twice last night, with both of his goals coming on Raider powerplays. His first goal was a tip in front right from his office at the top of the crease. His second of the night came off a nice set up from Macias, shooting the puck off the end board, where Crocker had the puck bounce right to him at the bottom of the right circle. Crocker has 11 goals and 23 assists for 34 points this season.
APPROACHING MILESTONES:
Niall Crocker: Will play his 250th WHL game TONIGHT in Calgary.
