Vochvest signs in Czechia
Vojtech Vochvest has found a new team for the 2025-26 season, his hometown team. The Czech defenceman signed with BK Mlada Boleslav, the organization that he grew up playing for.
Vochvest was selected by the Kamloops Blazers in the 2023 CHL Import Draft, playing there for a season before being dealt to the Prince George Cougars in the offseason. After playing seven games for the Cougars to stary the 2024-25 campaign, the 19-year old was acquired by the Raiders on October 7 in exchange for an eighth round pick.
In his time as a Raider, Vochvest suited up for 55 regular season games and 11 playoff games, recording a goal and six assists in those contests. The most memorable moment of his WHL career came on March 4, when he scored his first career WHL goal against the Regina Pats in his 121st game.
The Raiders would like to thank Vojtech for his time in Prince Albert, and wish him the best of luck back home.
