Rudolph named Finalist for WHL Scholastic Player of the Year
The Prince Albert Raiders are proud to announce that rookie defenceman Daxon Rudolph has been named one of four finalists for the Daryl K. (Doc) Seaman Memorial Trophy for WHL Scholastic Player of the Year.
Rudolph excelled in his Grade 11 year and his rookie season in the WHL. During his first semester/quad he was enrolled in 3 difficult classes: Pre-Calculus 20, Health Science 20, and Social Studies 30 where he attained an average of 91%. Currently, he is enrolled in Pre-Calculus 30 where his mark is 100%. He has remained focused on accomplishing all of his academic goals with drive, determination and a positive attitude.
In his rookie season with the Raiders, Rudolph scored seven goals and added an impressive 34 assists for 41 points, leading all Raider rookies in scoring. In seven playoff games so far, the Lacombe, AB product has eight assists.
