Raiders select goaltender Orsulak with first round import pick
The Prince Albert Raiders have selected Czechia import Michal Orsulak with their first round pick, 46th overall in the 2025 CHL Import Draft.
Orsulak checks in at 6’4, 225 lbs, and hails from Tremosna, Czechia. The 17-year-old catches right handed.
In the 2024-25 season with HC Energie Karlovy Vary U20, Orsulak put together a 3.23 GAA and a .902 save percentage in 34 games. He also represented Czechia on the national stage, winning silver at the 2024 Hlinka Gretzky tournament. In three appearances in the tournament, he had a 3.79 GAA and a .843 save percentage to go with a 1-2-0-0 record.
