Orsulak named finalist for WHL Goaltender of the Year
Prince Albert Raiders netminder Michal Orsulak has been named a finalist for the Del Wilson Memorial Trophy for WHL Goaltender of the Year.
Orsulak was the 46th overall pick by the Raiders in the 2025 CHL Import Draft last summer. In his rookie WHL season, the Tremosna, CZE product was dominant, putting together a 28-4-3-1 record. The 18-year-old recorded a .907 SV% (5th best in WHL), a 2.22 GAA (best in WHL), 28 wins (5th most in WHL) and recorded four shutouts (T-2nd most in WHL).
It’s the second straight season that a Raiders goaltender has been a finalist for WHL Goaltender of the Year. Max Hildebrand won the award last season, and was a nominee for CHL Goaltender of the Year.
