Oiring using last WHL season to raise money for local charity
Prince Albert Beverages and Raiders 20-year-old Alternate Captain Aiden Oiring will make every point count this season.
Today, the Raiders in partnership with Prince Albert Beverages, Oiring and his family are launching a season long campaign which will see Prince Albert Beverages donate $50 for every point he picks up this season (regular season and playoffs) to the local chapter of KidSport.
During the Raiders training camp last month, Aiden approached the Raiders business staff with a desire to give back to the community which has supported him so much since he joined the Raiders in his 17-year-old season. Oiring commented; “This program allows me to be fortunate enough to give back and help kids in Prince Albert and area that are unable to participate in and gain the passion for a sport like I was able to do growing up. I cannot thank Prince Albert Beverages enough for their involvement with this program.”
“Prince Albert KidSport would like to thank Prince Albert Beverages for their generous support,” President of Prince Albert KidSport Shaun Pikaluk said. “With their help, Prince Albert KidSport will be able to fund additional youth in registered sports, helping youth get off the sideline and into the game.”
