Meunier commits to University of Nebraska-Omaha
The Prince Albert Raiders are proud to announce that following his WHL eligibility, Ty Meunier will attend the University of Nebraska-Omaha. He joins teammates Justice Christensen and Aiden Oiring as commits to the Mavericks hockey team.
“I chose Omaha because I know they are a great program who develops players to move on to pro,” Meunier said. “The coaching staff has been phenomenal with me, and I believe they have an awesome culture there. I’m super excited that current teammates Aiden and Justice are also committed. I’m really looking forward to the facilities and high end training, and I believe it will be a good fit.”
In his rookie season as a Raider, Meunier scored 14 goals and added 15 assists to total 29 points, playing in all 68 regular season games. He also scored once in the playoffs.
