Macias returns to Prince Albert
The Prince Albert Raiders announced on Tuesday that 2004-born import forward Krzysztof Macias has returned to the team.
Macias was away from the club to start the season, as he was attending both Florida Panthers and Charlotte Checkers (Panthers AHL affiliate) camp.
In his first season with the Raiders in 2023-24, Macias played 65 regular season games, scoring 22 goals and adding 25 assists for 47 points. He scored his first WHL goal in his first WHL game on September 22, 2023 against the Moose Jaw Warriors, and scored a hat trick in his sixth career game against the Red Deer Rebels. He finished the season with five powerplay goals, three game winning goals, and a +9 rating.
Macias won’t be in the lineup on Wednesday or Saturday night, however, as he has to serve a two game suspension which was handed to him after game five of the first round of the playoffs against Saskatoon last season.
