GAINING SOME POWER: The Raiders scored two power-play goals in their loss to the Kelowna Rockets prior to the holiday break. It was the first time since November 3 against the Swift Current Broncos – a span of 18 games – that the Raiders scored multiple power-play goals in a game. The Raiders have scored 21 power-play goals this season, including four in the past four games. Jordy Stallard scored one of those power-play goals, bringing his total to 11 on the year, which is tied for third in the league.
ROSTER NEWS: The Raiders returned affiliate defenceman Adam Herold to the Regina Pat Canadians so he can compete at the Mac’s AAA Midget World Hockey Invitational. In his place, the Raiders recalled affiliates Kaiden Guhle and Tyler Lowe. Guhle and Lowe have played in one game each so far this season.
NEXT UP: The Raiders return to the Art Hauser Centre tomorrow night to finish off the home-and-home series with the Blades. Puck drop is 7 p.m. Tickets are available at raiderhockey.com, the Raider Office, or by calling 306-764-5348.
