Kovacevic signs AHL contract
The Prince Albert Raiders happily share that Rilen Kovacevic has signed an AHL contract with the Colorado Eagles for the 2025-26 season.
Kovacevic finished his WHL career in 2024-25 with the Raiders, playing 27 games in Prince Albert. He was acquired from the Moose Jaw Warriors just before the trade deadline.
In 225 career regular season games, Kovacevic scored 59 goals and registered 69 assists for 128 points. The Kelowna, BC product spent time with the Rockets, Oil Kings, Warriors, and Raiders throughout his WHL tenure. In 2023-24, he played a huge role in Moose Jaw’s WHL Championship. Playing in 20 playoff games, he scored four times and had 11 assists. In the WHL Final against the Portland Winterhawks, Kovacevic registered three assists. One of those was recorded on the game winning goal in Game Four, helping Moose Jaw sweep their championship series.
