Hildebrand named Eastern Conference Goaltender of the Year Finalist
The Prince Albert Raiders are proud to announce that goaltender Max Hildebrand has been named a finalist for Eastern Conference Goaltender Of The Year.
Hildebrand set career highs in every single department this season. In 55 games played, the Martensville, SK product strung together a 33-16-5-0 record, putting up a 2.87 GAA and a .918 SV%. He played the most minutes in the league (3,181), faced the most shots (1,865), and made the most saves (1,713). His three shutouts were tied for fourth most in the WHL, and his 33 wins were second most.
In his WHL regular season career, Hildebrand played 143 games, finishing with a 3.06 GAA, .905 SV%, and a 69-53-10-2 record. He ranks in the top five in nearly every franchise goalie record (games played, SV%, wins, shutouts, and minutes).
In the 2025 WHL Playoffs, Hildebrand tremendously helped the Raiders defeat the Edmonton Oil Kings in seven games. The 20-year-old registered a 2.02 GAA and a .941 SV%. He recorded his first career playoff shutout on Tuesday night in Game Seven, as the Raiders beat the Oil Kings 5-0 to advance to the second round.
Prince Albert travels to Medicine Hat to begin the second round of the WHL Playoffs on Saturday night.
