The Prince Albert Raiders have their first NCAA commitment. Upon his graduation from the WHL, goaltender Max Hildebrand will play for Bemidji State in Minnesota.
The Bemidji State Beavers are five time NCAA Division II champs (1984, 1993, 1994, 1995, 1997) and 1986 Division III champs. They made it all the way to the NCAA’s Frozen Four in 2009.
Hildebrand has played 103 games in his WHL career, putting up a 3.27 GAA and a .895 SV%. He has two career shutouts, and is currently ninth in franchise history in games played.
Hildebrand, as well as the rest of the Raiders are in action tomorrow night as they host the Tri-City Americans. Puck drops at 7pm.
