The Prince Albert Raiders take on the Everett Silvertips in game two of the WHL Championship Series Presented by Nutrien. The Raiders took a 1-0 series lead after a 4-2 win last night.

Michal Orsulak was a stud in game one’s win over Everett. The #2 ranked North American goaltender ahead of the 2026 NHL Draft stopped 39 of 41 shots on Friday night. The Czech import owns a 13-2-1 record in the playoffs, as well as a 2.30 GAA and a .903 SV%.
COOTES RECORDS LONE RAIDERS MULTI POINT NIGHT:
Braeden Cootes contributed to Prince Albert’s game one win in a big way, scoring a powerplay goal in the second period, and grabbing an assist on Jonah Sivertson’s second period tally. It’s the eighth time this postseason that Cootes has recorded at least two points in a game.
RUDOLPH NAMED WHL PLAYER OF THE WEEK:
The Western Hockey League announced 2026 NHL Draft-eligible defenceman Daxon Rudolph of the Prince Albert Raiders has been named Tempo WHL Player of the Week, Fuelled by Co-op, for the week ending Sunday, May 3. Rudolph, an 18-year-old product of Lacombe, Alta., recorded nine points (4G-5A) and a plus-4 rating in four games, helping the Raiders eliminate the defending WHL Champion Medicine Hat Tigers to advance to the 2026 WHL Championship Series presented by Nutrien.
CORKISH RECEIVES ROOKIE OF THE WEEK HONOURS:
The Western Hockey League announced today Prince Albert Raiders forward Owen Corkish has been named Sandman WHL Rookie of the Week for the week ending Sunday, May 3. Corkish, an 18-year-old product of Cottage Grove, Minn., recorded four points (3G-1A) and a plus-4 rating in four games, helping the Raiders eliminate the defending WHL Champion Medicine Hat Tigers.

The WHL Championship Series will shift to Prince Albert for three straight games next week. Game three and four are on Tuesday and Wednesday night, with game five at the AHC on Friday.
