Game Preview: Raiders vs Blades, September 13
The Prince Albert Raiders (2-1-0-0) host the Saskatoon Blades (0-3-0-0) tonight at the Art Hauser Centre. It’s Prince Albert’s final home game of the preseason, where they will look to improve to 3-0 on home ice. The Blades are looking for their first win of the preseason, as they’ve dropped all three of their contests so far.
WHO’S HOT:
Jonah Sivertson has been enjoying a productive preseason for the Raiders. Appearing in all three exhibition games for Prince Albert, the 2008-born forward has scored three goals. His best performance came in his last game against the Swift Current Broncos, where he scored twice as part of a 6-1 win.
Riley Boychuk had his best game against the Broncos last Saturday, picking up three points (2G-1A).
Benett Kelly has had a quietly good preseason as well on the stat sheet. In three games, the 16-year-old defenceman has three assists.
Oli Chenier rounds out the point leaders among Prince Albert with a trio of points. In two games in the preseason, the second year winger has a goal and two assists.
While he hasn’t played a full 60-minute game yet, Cooper Anderson has been solid between the pipes for the green and gold. Appearing in a pair of games, both for half of the game, Anderson has put up a 1.00 GAA to go along with a .941 SV%.
For the Blades, Ben Riche leads the way in scoring, with four points, all assists, in two exhibition games.
