Game Preview: November 28 @ Brandon
SETTING IT UP:
The Prince Albert Raiders (16-1-4-0) had to wait a week, but they will finally wrap up a home and home series with the Wheat Kings (11-10-1-0) tonight in Brandon. The Raiders beat the Wheat Kings 4-1 one week ago at the Art Hauser Centre, in what was their first game back from the U.S. Division road trip.
CRIPPS GETTING HOT:
After scoring his first WHL goal in Wenatchee, Brock Cripps scored for the second straight game on Friday versus Brandon. Since returning from the U17 World Hockey Challenge, the 16-year-old defenceman has two goals and an assist in his last five games. He has nine points through 16 games played so far this season.
RUDOLPH SHINES IN CHL USA PROSPECTS CHALLENGE:
The best of the best of the 2026 NHL Draft eligible players went head to head in Calgary and Lethbridge on Tuesday and Wednesday. Raiders defenceman Daxon Rudolph put together a nice two game stretch, including a two assist effort in Game Two’s CHL win.
WORLD JUNIORS REPRESENT:
Alisher Sarkenov will be away from the team for a while, as he is off to represent Kazakhstan at the Divison 1A World Junior Championship in Slovenia. That tournament begins on December 7th, and ends on the 13th.
UPCOMING MILESTONES:
Justice Christensen: 9 goals away from 50
Aiden Oiring: 11 points away from 200
BURRETT GETTING PLUS GRADES:
Raiders defenceman Linden Burrett sits second in the WHL in +/- rating at +20. Only Julius Miettinen of the Everett Silvertips (+25) is higher.
ROSTER NEWS:
For personal reasons, forward Jackson Kostiuk has left the team.
UP NEXT:
The Raiders come home tomorrow night to host the Medicine Hat Tigers at the Art Hauser Centre. Tomorrow’s game will feature the return of the Cobra Chickens, with new jerseys! Puck drops at 7pm.
