Game Preview: November 11 @ Everett
SETTING IT UP:
The Prince Albert Raiders (12-1-3-0) head to Everett to take on the Western Conference leading Silvertips (15-1-2-0) tonight at Angel of the Winds Arena. The Raiders suffered their first regulation loss of the season on Saturday night, falling 6-2 to the Tri-City Americans. That ended a 15 game point streak for Prince Albert, who sits second in the Eastern Conference.
REINFORCEMENTS BACK IN THE LINEUP:
Brock Cripps and Ben Harvey will make their return to the lineup tonight for the Raiders, while Ryan McDonald will be back behind the bench as head coach. The three were on the East Coast for the U17 World Hockey Challenge, where Cripps and McDonald captured gold with Canada Red, while Harvey came away with a silver medal with Canada White. Cripps was also named to the All-Star team after the tournament. The defenceman scored a goal and added five assists in five games. Harvey scored a goal and had an assist in five games. “The experience in general was super good playing against those teams from all across the world,” said Cripps.“It was obviously a very cool experience and an honour to be a part of Team Canada and wear the jersey, but obviously not the result we wanted,” Harvey said.
GOALIE OF THE WEEK HONOURS FOR ORS:
For the first time in his WHL career, Prince Albert Raiders netminder Michal Orsulak was named WHL Goaltender of the Week. Orsulak, an 18-year-old product of Tremosna, Czechia, went 2-0-0-0 with a 1.50 goals-against average and .940 save percentage this past week, helping the Raiders claim two wins as they embarked on a lengthy road trip through the WHL’s U.S. Division.

While his point streak may have taken a brief break, Riley Boychuk scored a goal on Saturday against the Americans to start up a new one. He now has a two game point streak going, and leads the Raiders in scoring with 18 points (3G-15A).
