Game Preview: March 12 @ Lethbridge
SETTING IT UP:
The Raiders (34-22-5-1) continue their four game road trip tonight in Alberta when they visit the Lethbridge Hurricanes (40-19-2-2). Prince Albert dropped both of their games to the Saskatoon Blades on the weekend, and will look to turn things around in the Central Division. Lethbridge has won three games in a row, and has points in eight straight as they continue a long six game homestand.
THE ELEPHANT IN THE ROOM:
The Raiders made a coaching change on Monday, promoting Ryan McDonald to head coach and relieving Jeff Truitt of his duties after almost three seasons as bench boss. McDonald served as an interim head coach earlier this season, where he went 10-4-0-1.
EAST DIVISION RACE:
After a pair of losses on the weekend, the Raiders have come back down to earth, as just one point separates them between the Saskatoon Blades and Brandon Wheat Kings with six games left in the schedule. The Blades and Wheat Kings play each other tonight in Brandon, as it will be a dog fight for the rest of the season for the top seed in the East Division.
UPCOMING MILESTONES:
Brayden Dube: One goal away from 50 career.
Aiden Oiring: One assist from 100 career.
Justice Christensen: Two points away from 100 career.
