Game Preview: January 8 @ Medicine Hat
SETTING IT UP:
Prince Albert (19-13-3-0) visit the Medicine Hat Tigers (25-15-2-0) tonight. The Raiders will look to shake off a 5-3 loss to the Brandon Wheat Kings tonight, while the Tigers look to pick up their second straight win. Prince Albert is just five points back of Medicine Hat for top spot in the Eastern Conference with four games in hand heading into tonight.
LOTS OF CHANGES:
Prince Albert has some new faces on the roster, as they have been busy with trades this week. Krzysztof Macias and Luke Moroz are OUT, while Rilen Kovacevic and Linden Burrett are IN. Kovacevic was acquired by the Raiders from Moose Jaw on Tuesday in exchange for Macias, Moroz, and a fourth round pick. Burrett was acquired from the Seattle Thunderbirds on Sunday for a draft pick.
HILTY HITS 3,000:
Max Hildebrand recorded his 3,000th career save on Saturday night in the first period against Brandon. Only seven other goalies in franchise history have hit that mark.
APPROACHING MILESTONES:
Aiden Oiring: One goals away from 50.
Lukas Dragicevic: One point away from 200.
