Game Preview: Game Six @ Edmonton
SETTING IT UP:
A massive win on Friday night sets the stage for tonight’s Game Six in Edmonton. The Raiders knocked off the Edmonton Oil Kings by a 4-2 final just two nights ago at the Art Hauser Centre to keep their first round playoff matchup alive. With the win, the series now sits at 3-2 in favour of Edmonton. A Prince Albert win tonight would force Game Seven back at the Hauser on Sunday night. The winner of this series will face the Medicine Hat Tigers in the second round.
DRAGO GOES NUTS:
A two goal, three point night for Raider defenceman Lukas Dragicevic played a huge role in Prince Albert’s Friday night victory. He put the team up 2-0 in the late stages of the first on a powerplay, and added his second goal of the game on a Raider powerplay late in the third. That tally would stand as the game winning goal. The Seattle Kraken prospect now has seven points in five playoff games.
AO LET’S GO:
Aiden Oiring also had a fantastic night on Friday, scoring once and adding two assists. He won a faceoff late in the second period right to Dragicevic, where he scored his second goal of the game. Oiring’s lone goal on the night came with 1:12 left in the third period, as he delivered the final dagger into an empty net to make it a 4-2 final.
