Game Preview: Game Five vs Edmonton
SETTING IT UP:
The Prince Albert Raiders have their backs against the wall for the first time this postseason. They fell by a 3-2 score on Tuesday and Wednesday night to the Edmonton Oil Kings, and now trail their best of seven opening round three games to one. Game Five is tonight at the Art Hauser Centre, where the Raiders will look to keep their season alive and force Game Six back in Edmonton on Sunday. The last time these teams played in Prince Albert was for Game Two on Saturday, where Prince Albert won by a convincing 6-1 final.
INSANE SHOOTING PERCENTAGE:
Niall Crocker leads the Raiders in the playoffs with four goals, and has a crazy stat to go along with it. He’s only taken five shots through four games, meaning his shooting percentage is at an astounding 80% in the playoffs. His biggest game of the series was Game Two, where he scored twice.
HILTY KEEPING THE RAIDERS IN IT:
There hasn’t been a game yet in the postseason where Max Hildebrand has given up more than three goals. In fact, all three of Edmonton’s wins have come with exactly three goals scored. On the other hand, the Raiders have scored two or less in three of the four games so far this series. Hildebrand will be hoping to see some extra run support tonight, as he’s put together a 2.28 GAA and a .933 SV% in the postseason.
