Game Preview: Game 9 @ Moose Jaw
SETTING IT UP:
Prince Albert hits the road to Moose Jaw tonight for their second meeting of the season against the Warriors. The Raiders downed Moose Jaw 4-0 in the first game of the season at the Art Hauser Centre, and will be looking for a similar result down south. The green and gold enter tonight’s game on a three game winning streak, with their most recent victory coming by a 7-2 final against the Calgary Hitmen last night.
COMING OUT SWINGING:
The Raiders scored three first period goals en route to their 7-2 win over the Hitmen on Friday night. Aiden Oiring did all of his damage in the first period, scoring twice and adding an assist in the opening 20 minutes.
POURING IT ON:
The Raiders have scored 17 goals in their last three games. A 6-2 win in Red Deer, a 4-1 win in Edmonton, and last night’s 7-2 win in Calgary have showed positive signs that the Raiders are trending in the right direction offensively. At the same time, five goals against in three games has been a testament to how well the defence has been playing.
