A STYLISH 200: Keaton Sorensen made the most out of his 200th career WHL game on Tuesday night. The overage forward scored a beauty on a penalty shot in the first period against Brandon, deking and roofing a backhand shot for his team leading 23rd goal of the season.
UPCOMING MILESTONE: Sloan Stanick will be the next member of the Raiders to reach the 200 game milestone, and he will do so on Sunday in Saskatoon. The 19-year-old has spent most of his WHL career in Prince Albert, with some time spent in Regina as well.
THE PLAYOFF PICTURE: The Raiders have their work cut out for them now as the season winds down. Losing three straight has drastically impacted their chances on making it to the postseason, and it will take an impressive run for them to slide in, with five of their remaining eight games coming against the Blades and Winnipeg ICE. The green and gold currently sit six points back of the Swift Current Broncos for the eighth seed, and will have to battle three teams (Broncos, Hitmen, Wheat Kings) in the standings to have a shot at a postseason run.
