Game Preview: Game 52 @ Saskatoon
SETTING IT UP:
Prince Albert heads to Saskatoon to take on the Blades for the eighth time this season, and the third time in two weeks. The Raiders will be looking to collect their third straight win after shutting out the Lethbridge Hurricanes 3-0 on Wednesday night. The Blades have picked up points in nine straight games, while Prince Albert has won four of their last six contests.
CLEAN SLATE:
Max Hildebrand notched his second career shutout on Wednesday night, making 18 saves against Lethbridge. Hildebrand has played in 35 games this season, putting together a 17-13-1-2 record, a 2.88 GAA, and a .910 SV%.
THE CROCK POT IS COOKING:
Niall Crocker has been one of the Raiders’ better point producers lately. The Delta, BC product has scored four goals in his last five games. His goal on Wednesday against the Hurricanes in the first period was the game winner, giving him his third GWG of the season. In 51 games this season, Crocker has 17 goals and 27 assists for 44 points, second best on the team.
MAKE IT FIVE:
Wednesday’s victory was Prince Albert’s fifth straight win on home ice. They will try to extend that to six games against the Brandon Wheat Kings tomorrow night at the Art Hauser Centre.
