Game Preview: Game 19 @ Lethbridge
SATURDAY RECAP:
The Raiders fell to the best team in the WHL on Saturday night, as the Prince George Cougars shut them out 5-0. Nicholas McLennan scored his first WHL goal, while rookie netminder Joshua Ravensbergen collected his third shutout of the season, stopping all 38 shots he faced. Prince Albert fell to 9-8-0-1 with the loss, and now sit in a tie for fifth place in a very crowded Eastern Conference with 19 points.
HITTING THE ROAD:
Prince Albert kicks off their longest road trip of the season tonight in Lethbridge (9-7-2-0). It’s the first meeting between these two teams this season. In the 2022-23 campaign, the Hurricanes got the better of the Raiders, winning three out of four regular season matchups. You will have to fast forward the schedule to the next time these two teams will meet, as they won’t see each other again until February 7th at the Art Hauser Centre.
