Game Preview: Game 15 @ Moose Jaw
SETTING IT UP:
The Prince Albert Raiders snapped a brief two game losing slide on Saturday night against the Swift Current Broncos, winning by a 4-2 final. The win was the second half of a home and home set with Swift Current. The Broncos slipped by the Raiders 3-2 in Swift Current on Wednesday night. Four different Raiders (Brayden Dube, Niall Crocker, Hayden Pakkala, and Ryder Ritchie) scored in the win for Prince Albert on Saturday.
BETTER THAN EVER:
Max Hildebrand will return between the pipes tonight for the Raiders. Hildebrand has sat out the last six games due to a lower body injury, but is back and better than ever. The netminder has the second best GAA in the WHL (1.81) heading into tonight’s action, with a 4-1-0-0 record and a .945 SV%
KEEPING PACE:
Last night’s win kept Prince Albert right in the thick of the hunt for top spot in the WHL’s Eastern Conference. Now with 17 points on the season, the Raiders sit just two points back of the East leading Medicine Hat Tigers for top spot. Five teams, including Prince Albert, are within two points of that top spot.
