SETTING IT UP:
Prince Albert (27-17-3-1) wraps up their three game Alberta road trip tonight in Medicine Hat. The Raiders had a game to forget last night, falling 6-1 in Lethbridge, and now have the task of finishing their road swing against the top ranked team in the Eastern Conference.
100 FOR OLI:
Raider winger Oli Chenier played in his 100th WHL game last night in Lethbridge. In those games, the Winnipeg, MB product has 13 goals and 16 assists for 29 career points.
LEAGUE AWARDS:
Two Raiders were named winners of WHL awards this week. Max Hildebrand was named Goalie of the Week after a pair of 31 save performances in 5-2 wins against the Regina Pats and Wenatchee Wild. Meanwhile rookie defenceman Daxon Rudolph was named the WHL’s Rookie of the Month. January was kind to Rudolph, as he recorded 15 points, while at one time holding a 12 game point streak.
