Game Preview: February 26 vs Lethbridge
SETTING IT UP:
The Raiders (33-19-3-1) start a two game homestand tonight as they host the Lethbridge Hurricanes (35-19-2-1). Prince Albert picked up wins in both of their games on the weekend, 4-1 against the Moose Jaw Warriors on Friday, and a 3-0 shutout win over the Regina Pats on the road Saturday. As a result, the green and gold took back sole possession of first place in the East Division, as they now have a three point lead over the Brandon Wheat Kings and Saskatoon Blades.
ROOKIE OF THE WEEK:
Daxon Rudolph was recognized for his six point, +9 rating last week. The 16-year-old defenceman was named the WHL Rookie of the Week. Rudolph was the January WHL Rookie of the Month as well. In his four games last week, he scored once and added five assists, including a five point night in Moose Jaw on Wednesday.
DUBE HITS 100:
A two point night in Regina on Saturday helped Brayden Dube reach the 100 point plateau in his WHL career. Dube assisted on Tomas Mrsic’s goal in the third period, and scored an empty netter for his 100th point.
