Game Day: October 19 @ Vancouver
SETTING IT UP:
The Raiders (2-6-2-0) saw a 4-1 lead disappear on Friday night in Victoria, as they fell 6-4 to the Royals. Tonight, they’ll look to end their BC road trip on the right foot, as they take on the Vancouver Giants (5-4-0-0).
POINT STREAKS EXTEND:
Tomas Mrsic, Lukas Dragicevic, Niall Crocker, Brayden Dube, and Ethan Bibeau all extended their point streaks to four games on Friday in Victoria. Mrsic, Dragicevic, and Crocker all scored a goal in the first period. Dragicevic also added two assists. Dube had two assists on the night, while Bibeau had one. Krzysztof Macias has at least a point in every game he’s played this season, as he picked up two assists in the loss last night. The import overager now has five points in three games this season.
DRAGO FINALLY GETS HIS FIRST:
After only picking up assists entering Friday night’s game, Lukas Dragicevic scored his first goal as a Raider against the Royals. It came off of a nice feed from Dube across the crease, as Dragicevic one timed a shot to the back of the net. The blue liner has 10 points in eight games this season (1G-9A).
