Game Day: December 3 vs Red Deer
SETTING IT UP:
Prince Albert (11-8-3-0) extended their winning streak to three games, and their point streak to eight straight with a 3-2 win over the Lethbridge Hurricanes on Saturday night at the Art Hauser Centre. Brayden Dube scored twice, while Justice Christensen scored the game winning goal in the second period. Tonight, it’s game two of a three game homestand as they welcome the Red Deer Rebels (12-10-1-2). Red Deer is on a two game winning streak after shaking off a six game slide in November, picking up wins over Prince George and Brandon.
DUBE DUBE DO:
Scoring seems to come in pairs for Brayden Dube. In the last three games that he’s scored in (November 30 vs LET, November 23 vs REG, November 9 @ BDN), he scored two goals. His 11 goals this season are tied for the second most on the team with Aiden Oiring (Tomas Mrsic has 16), and he enters tonight on a three game point streak.
OIRING CONTINUES TO IMPRESS:
Aiden Oiring continues to lead the Raiders in scoring this season, and extended his season high point streak to seven games. In those seven games, Oiring has five goals and 11 points for 16 points.
APPROACHING MILESTONES:
Lukas Dragicevic: Three assists away from 150 career.
Tomas Mrsic: One goal away from 50 career.
Brayden Dube: Five games away from 150.
