Crocker commits to Ohio State
The Prince Albert Raiders are proud to announce that Niall Crocker has committed to Ohio State University starting in the 2025-26 season.
“Through talks with their coaches, I feel like this is a good fit,” Crocker said. “I liked everything they had to offer, and I’m extremely grateful and thankful for this opportunity. I can’t wait to get started there.”
In his final season in the WHL, Crocker is currently on pace to set new career highs in goals, assists, and points. The 20-year-old has 14 goals and 26 assists for 40 points in 35 games this season. Last season, the Delta, BC product scored 23 goals and added 34 helpers for 57 points. He’s also on pace to set a career high in powerplay goals. He had 11 powerplay markers in both 2022-23 and 2023-24, and already has nine this season.
In 256 career WHL games, Crocker has scored 57 goals and chipped in with 81 assists for 138 points, with 31 powerplay goals and 8 game winners to go along with 137 penalty minutes.
Crocker becomes the second Raider to announce an NCAA commitment, after goaltender Max Hildebrand announced his commitment to Bemidji State in November.
